Brief History

The Computation and Neural Networks Laboratory was founded in 1989 by Dr. Mohamad H. Hassoun for the purpose of investigating new computational architectures and learning systems inspired by biological neural networks. Research is performed on algorithms for massively parallel and collective computation, artificial neural systems, associative neural memories, and pattern recognition.
